A station of the Moscow Metro, the northern terminus of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line. Opened on July 15, 1994, with the extension of the line north from the 'Bibirevo' station. The depth is 9 meters. It is the northernmost station of the Moscow Metro. Named after the historical area in which it is located, as well as Altufyevskoye Shosse. Initially planned to be named 'Cherepovetskaya', then 'Altufyevskaya'. The station is quite busy as it is the terminus and the closest to the Northern district and the city of Dolgoprudny.
