A station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro. Located between the stations 'Ploshchad Revolyutsii' and 'Smolenskaya'. The station is a deep-level pylon three-vaulted structure. Part of the section 'Ploshchad Revolyutsii' — 'Kievskaya'. The station has the status of a recognized cultural heritage site. Named after Arbat Street, like the station of the same name on the Filyovskaya line. The station is part of the largest transfer hub in Moscow and has transfers to the stations: 'Biblioteka Imeni Lenina' on the Sokolnicheskaya line, 'Alexandrovsky Sad' on the Filyovskaya line, and 'Borovitskaya' on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line. It is one of the stations of the four-station transfer hub 'Alexandrovsky Sad — Arbatskaya — Biblioteka Imeni Lenina — Borovitskaya'.
